There are so many things to love about the Cleveland International Film Festival. One of them is the opportunity to learn about places you didn't even know existed.

The film "Antarctica, A Year On Ice" is a documentary based on the people who live and work at McMurdo station in Antarctica. Yes, people live in Antarctica. Some only live there during the summer months and some stay all year long.

The film showcases beautiful footage captured over a 10 year time frame. It's an interesting story about the continent and the life that is there.

You can catch this film on Monday, March 24th and Sunday March 30th. The festival runs until March 30th and Monday you can enjoy free films courtesy of the Cleveland Foundation. Visit the CIFF website for more details! http://www.clevelandfilm.org/
